The energy-autonomous wireless contact FM.A is visibly mounted on the window frame and detects the opening or closing of the window using a magnet on the window sash. The signal is transmitted wirelessly via the EnOcean radio protocol to a compatible smart home system. Areas of application include heating control for energy saving when the window is opened, activation/deactivation of air conditioning or ventilation systems via relays, as well as window monitoring with alarm devices.
