The KNX Modbus RTU Gateway is a compact device with a width of only 1 TE (18 mm) and offers 250 freely configurable channels for KNX datapoints. It enables the simple integration of Modbus devices that support the RTU protocol via RS-485 and can function as both a master and a slave. The mapping between KNX objects and Modbus registers is done via the ETS software, including the interpretation and scaling of Modbus data according to KNX standards. An integrated datapoint type converter allows for further scaling and conversion. Test and diagnostic functions are directly available in the ETS parameter area, and configurations can be imported and exported via the ETS extension (DCA). Local operation is carried out via two buttons and three multicoloured LEDs, and power supply is provided via the KNX bus. The device supports KNX Security and offers pluggable connectors for easy installation.
