The UniFi Express 7 is an ultra-compact cloud gateway with integrated WiFi 7, offering maximum performance and security for modern home networks and small offices. With 10G WAN, WiFi 7 tri-band, and comprehensive security features, it is ideal for anyone who wants a powerful, future-proof network – without compromise. Whether streaming, smart home, remote work, or gaming – the UX7 delivers stable connections, high throughput, and full control over your network.

Tri-Band WiFi 7: 6 GHz at 5.7 Gbps, 5 GHz at 4.3 Gbps, 2.4 GHz at 688 Mbps – each with 2x2 MU-MIMO
10G & 2.5G Ports: 1 x 10G WAN, 1 x 2.5G LAN – ideal for fast internet connections and local devices
Full UniFi OS Integration: Network, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall and more directly via the UniFi interface
Advanced Security: Layer 7 firewall, IDS/IPS, DPI, ad-blocking, geo-IP and content filtering
VPN & SD-WAN: WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, L2TP, Teleport and site-to-site VPN without license
Compact Design: Desktop form factor with 0.96" status display, USB-C power supply and Bluetooth setup

The UniFi Express 7 is a mesh-scalable gateway with integrated WiFi 7 according to the 802.11be standard. The three radio bands – 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz – together deliver over 10 Gbps throughput. The antennas provide 6 dBi (6 GHz), 7 dBi (5 GHz) and 4 dBi (2.4 GHz) gain, supported by beamforming and MU-MIMO for stable connections even with many clients.

The port configuration is minimalist but powerful: one 10G RJ45 WAN port for fast internet connections and one 2.5G RJ45 LAN port for local devices or uplinks. This makes the UX7 perfect for fibre optic connections or multi-gigabit backbones.

The UniFi OS platform gives you access to all important network functions: VLANs, DHCP, IPv6, IGMP proxy, mDNS, advanced NAT, RADIUS with TLS, OSPF, QoS and much more. Management is done via the UniFi Network app or the web interface – with cloud access and Bluetooth setup for easy installation.

In terms of security, the UX7 is fully equipped: Layer 7 firewall with DPI, intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS), geo-IP filtering, content filtering, ad-blocking and VPN options such as WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, L2TP and Teleport. Site-to-site VPNs and SD-WAN are also usable without additional license.

The UX7 supports up to 30+ UniFi devices and over 300 simultaneous clients – ideal for smart homes, small offices or home offices with high demands. The IDS/IPS performance is 2.3 Gbps, which still allows high throughput even with security enabled.

The housing is made of polycarbonate, measures 117 x 117 x 42.5 mm and weighs only 422 g. Power supply is via USB-C with 5V/5A, the power adapter is included. Operating temperature ranges from -10 to 40 °C, humidity may be between 5 and 95%.

The UniFi Express 7 is a powerful, compact gateway for anyone who wants WiFi 7, 10G WAN and full UniFi functionality in one device – ideal for prosumers, IT enthusiasts and small businesses.
