Basement Light Bakelite

We were able to find the tools for this once widely used all-purpose light. It has commonly always been referred to as a basement light, and we continue to use this term even though its areas of application are now much more diverse. Whether formerly in the basement, laundry room, attic, stairwell, or garage, today these lights have also made their way into the kitchen and living areas.

The tools, which are more than 70 years old, have been slightly revised and still allow the production of these practical and attractive lights. Fewer machines than hands are needed for the production of these lights; pressing (baking) the housings alone is a time-consuming manual task.
