The presence detector (PIR) for flush-mounted ceiling installation indoors offers a circular detection area of ​​360° and a range of 12 m (113 m²) at a mounting height of 3 m. It is designed for the KNX bus system and has two channels for lighting control and two channels for presence and HVAC control. Automatic lighting control supports constant light control and switching operation, while dimmable lighting is possible both with and without daylight influence. It also features an integrated temperature sensor, and day/night switching is controlled via telegram. The detector can be operated as a fully or semi-automatic device and allows manual override via external KNX buttons. Functions such as directional brightness measurement, selectable control speed, scene functionality, and switch-on delay are also included. The detection sensitivity can be adjusted for outdoor use, and the settings are configured via ETS software.
