This powerful KNX presence detector for flush ceiling mounting is a central component for intelligent building automation. It integrates seamlessly into KNX bus systems and offers the highest security thanks to KNX Data Secure. With two light channels, it enables sophisticated lighting control, optionally in switching mode or as constant light control. Additionally, two presence channels control heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. An integrated temperature sensor provides further valuable data. The 360° detection area covers 113 m² at a mounting height of 3 m. Configuration is flexible via ETS, remote control, or app via Bluetooth [1.1].



The presence detector (PIR) for flush ceiling mounting indoors offers a circular detection area of 360° and a range of Ø 12 m (113 m²) at 3 m mounting height. It is designed for the KNX bus system and features 2 channels for lighting control and 2 channels for presence and HVAC control. The automatic lighting control supports constant light control and switching mode, while dimmable lighting is possible both with and without daylight influence. Additionally, an integrated temperature sensor is present, and day/night switching is performed via telegram. The detector can be operated as full or semi-automatic and allows manual override via external KNX push buttons. Functions such as directed brightness measurement, selectable control speed, scene functionality, and switch-on delay are also included. Detection sensitivity can be adjusted for outdoor use, and settings are made via ETS software.
