This eliminates the need for separate Zigbee hubs from different brands; you only need one universal gateway—the Dongle Plus! The Dongle Plus can be used as a Zigbee 3.0 gateway in open-source automation platforms to manage various subdevices from different brands. The supported devices depend on the platform. The Dongle Plus comes with pre-flashed coordinator firmware; you can also flash router firmware to extend the network range.
