Connection & control

The switch can be integrated via Matter directly into Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Home Assistant – without additional apps or cloud services. A Matter-capable hub or a Thread Border Router (e.g. HomePod mini, Google Nest Hub or Home Assistant SkyConnect) is required. Alternatively, the eWeLink app offers comprehensive functions such as timers, schedules, scenes, group control and LED configuration. The connection is via stable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Design, material & installation

The M5-3C-86W fits into standard flush-mounted boxes with an 86 mm format. It can also be installed in German 68 mm boxes with slight modifications. The front is made of high-quality plastic with a matt surface. Modern, discreet and easy to care for. Operation is via a classic push button with pleasant feedback. Additionally, a blue LED shows the Wi-Fi status and an orange LED is integrated per button to visualise the switching state. These LEDs can be individually configured in the eWeLink app: you can adjust the brightness or switch them off completely. Ideal for bedrooms or dark rooms.

Offline capability & emergency operation

Thanks to the integrated relay, the switch works even without Wi-Fi or cloud. Manual operation via the button is always retained. Light on/off always works. This provides safety and comfort even in case of network outages or router problems.
