For System M. The Merten System M socket MEG2500-0403 is a protective contact socket in matt black colour. Integrated enhanced touch protection according to VDE 0620 Part 1. Features – Front-side retrofitting of QuickFlex additional modules without dismantling the socket. Quick-thread screws for claw fastening. Recessed claws with return spring. High-gloss zinc-plated support ring insulated from the claw. With claw and screw fastening. With push-in terminals. The cover is made from recycled material consisting of industrial waste. The colour is black, based on RAL9005, with a matt finish due to the coating. The protective contact socket is VDE- and NF-certified and designed for IP20 use in flush or surface mounting. The material used reduces waste and is part of Schneider Electric’s green initiative. Material: thermoplastic. Colour: matt black.
