  • Dual sensor technology (PIR + mmWave): The MS600MA-EU combines a classic PIR sensor with millimetre-wave radar. This means it detects not only movement but also the presence of people, even when they are sitting or lying still. This reduces typical issues such as lights turning off accidentally despite presence.
  • Matter compatibility for multi-platform integration: Thanks to Matter over Wi-Fi, the sensor can be integrated directly and simultaneously into various smart home systems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and Home Assistant – all without an additional hub. This ensures high flexibility, low latency and data protection through local processing.
  • Integrated brightness sensor with lux value measurement: The built-in light sensor precisely measures ambient brightness in lux, not just “bright/dark”. This enables finely tuned automations, e.g. switching lights on only below <30 lux.
  • Large detection range and flexible mounting: With a range of up to 12 m (presence up to 6 m) and a base that can tilt 180° and rotate 360°, the sensor can be optimally aligned. An included cap reduces false alarms caused by pets or robot vacuum cleaners.
  • Privacy-friendly and camera-free: The sensor operates completely without a camera and does not store images or personal data. Detection is based purely on physical movement patterns, making it especially privacy-friendly.
  • Easy setup and calibration via Meross App: The Meross App allows quick calibration and provides access to firmware updates as well as advanced settings. The Matter integration then enables handover to other systems like Home Assistant.
  • Versatile applications for automations: Whether for lighting control, heating regulation, fan activation or security applications – the sensor is suitable for many smart home, hotel or office scenarios. It also detects subtle movements, making it particularly versatile.


The MEROSS MS600MA-EU is an intelligent presence sensor that reliably supports modern smart home applications. By combining PIR and millimetre-wave technology, it detects not only classic movements but also subtle presence, such as when people are sitting quietly or sleeping.

Particularly noteworthy is the full compatibility with Home Assistant via Matter over Wi-Fi. The sensor can be integrated directly and without an additional hub into Home Assistant, enabling complex automations with high reliability and low latency.

An integrated brightness sensor provides precise lux values, allowing light-dependent automations to be implemented especially efficiently. For example, lights can be activated only when presence is detected and ambient brightness is low.

The mounting is flexible: thanks to its tiltable and rotatable bracket, the sensor can be optimally aligned. An included cap helps to avoid false alarms caused by pets or robot vacuum cleaners.

Privacy is a top priority: the MS600MA-EU operates completely without a camera and does not store any personal data. Detection is purely physical and local.

Setup is convenient via the Meross App, which allows easy calibration and firmware updates. After configuration, the sensor can be handed over via Matter to other systems such as Home Assistant and further utilised there.
