The DALI-2 USB interface from Lunatone with the article number 24138215 30 is a compact device that enables direct access to the DALI bus via a computer. It is ideal for commissioning, configuring, and analysing DALI systems and is powered via USB. The connection is made via a USB-C port, and a suitable cable is already included.

The module provides its own bus power supply with up to 30 milliamperes. This can be switched on and off via the DALI Cockpit software. This allows smaller DALI installations to be powered directly without the need for an additional power source. Communication is reliable and interference-free, as the USB and DALI sides are electrically isolated.

The interface supports both classic DALI commands and DALI-2, as well as various extended protocols, including eDALI and manufacturer-specific extensions. Additionally, the device is equipped with the LUBA protocol, which enables serial communication and thus opens up further control options.

The software automatically recognises the device under Windows 10 and later versions. Firmware updates can be performed directly via the USB connection.
