The Legrand residual current circuit breaker DX3-ID, Type B, is a 4-pole, all-current sensitive switch for alternating, pulsating, and smooth direct residual currents, compliant with VDE 0664-10, VDE 0664-11, and EN 61008-1. It detects residual currents in the frequency range from 0 Hz to 1 kHz and offers a short-time delayed trip with a high trip threshold, minimising false trips.
With a rated current of 63 A and a rated residual current of 300 mA, the switch is suitable for 400 VAC. The short-circuit withstand capacity is 10 kA, and it can withstand surge currents up to 3000 A. Mounting is on DIN rails, and it features a red/green switching indicator as well as a labelling window. Applications include commercial and industrial installations such as photovoltaic systems, air conditioning units, and medical devices. The switch is IP20, halogen-free, and suitable for conductor cross-sections from 0.75 to 50 mm².
