The Legrand DX3-ID residual current device, Type B, is a 2-pole, AC/DC sensitive device for AC, pulsating, and smooth DC residual currents. It complies with the VDE 0664-10, VDE 0664-11, and EN 61008-1 standards. With a rated current of 40 A and a rated residual current of 300 mA, it detects residual currents in the frequency range from 0 Hz to 1 kHz. Short-time delayed tripping reduces nuisance tripping. The rated voltage is 230 VAC, the short-circuit current is 10 kA, and the surge current is up to 3000 A. The device is suitable for commercial and industrial applications in TT, TN-S, and TN-C-S systems, such as photovoltaic or air conditioning systems. It is DIN rail mountable, features a red/green switch position indicator, and is halogen-free. Connection terminals are suitable for conductor cross-sections from 0.75 to 50 mm².
