ISOLED 114066 LED spotlight CRI95 GU10 dimmable | 7 W, 2700 K, 10°

With this GU10 LED spotlight, you place light exactly where it should have an effect: as a clear accent on pictures, shelves, or details in the room. The warm white light colour with 2700 K creates an especially cosy and comfortable atmosphere, while the narrow beam angle of 10° sharply emphasises contrasts. In addition, you get a very high colour rendering (CRI 95) so that materials and surfaces appear more natural.

• Precise spot: The narrow beam angle of 10° directs the light specifically for strong accents on selected areas.
• Efficient brightness: With 7 W, the spotlight provides well usable light with low power consumption.
• Warm white for living spaces: 2700 K produces a particularly warm light effect, ideal for living areas, reception, and gastronomy.
• Very good colour rendering: CRI 95 brings colours visibly closer to daylight, which is especially noticeable with wood, textiles, art, and food.
• Dimmable with phase control: The spotlight is dimmable via leading or trailing edge phase control and can be operated flicker-free during dimming.
• Directly on 230 V: With 220 to 240 V AC and GU10 base, the lamp fits many common mains voltage spots without an external power supply.
• For indoor use: IP20 is designed for dry indoor spaces and thus suits typical ceiling and wall spots in homes or shops.

Light effect and application

A 10° spotlight is the right choice when you do not want to illuminate “a lot of space” but need a clear light cone for accent lighting. Typical applications are picture walls, display cabinets, niches, counters, textured walls, or targeted light points in corridors and staircases. Due to the concentrated amount of light, the light appears noticeably more intense in practice than with wide beam angles because the brightness falls on a smaller area. For even general lighting, wider angles are usually more sensible, while this spotlight sets the stage for details.

Colour quality: when colours need to be right

The colour rendering index of CRI 95 is a strong selection criterion as soon as natural colours are important to you. Skin tones appear less grey, red and wood tones look richer, and fine differences in materials become more visible. This is worthwhile in living areas as well as in shopfitting, exhibitions, or anywhere products and surfaces should look “real”. Together with 2700 K, it creates a particularly warm light that produces a cosy atmosphere.

Proper understanding of the dimming function

Because the spotlight is dimmable, you can flexibly adjust the amount of light to the situation and time of day, from subtle background lighting to a clear spot. The specified dimming type via leading or trailing edge phase control is typical for many installations with 230 V GU10 lamps and helps you especially with compatibility in existing setups. Important for everyday use: dimming changes the brightness, not the light colour, as “dim to warm” is not supported here. So if you are looking for a noticeably warmer light colour when dimming, a different lamp with this function would be more suitable.

Dimensions and design

As a retrofit lamp with GU10 base, the spotlight is made for common fittings and is used like a classic GU10 lamp. With a diameter of 50 mm, it corresponds to the usual spot format, and the length of 58.0 mm is relevant if you work in very shallow recessed housings or narrow spotlight heads. The housing is made of aluminium and is finished in silver/grey, which contributes to heat dissipation and robustness in operation. For areas that can be permanently cooler or warmer, the spotlight supports an ambient temperature from -20 °C to 40 °C, which can be helpful, for example, in unheated ancillary rooms.

Service life and planning reliability

For orientation regarding durability, the useful life is a central comparison value: with L70/B50 of 45,000 h, the spotlight is designed for long operating times, which especially reduces maintenance effort for frequently used accent lights. In addition, there are clear framework conditions such as IP20 for dry indoor spaces and a 2-year warranty, which gives you additional security when selecting. If you combine several spots, make sure to keep the beam angle and colour temperature consistent so that the light cones and overall effect remain harmonious; alternatively, this spotlight is also available in 3000 K or 4000 K if you prefer somewhat cooler or neutral light colours.
