The media coupler offers versatile functions for expanding existing systems or integrating into new buildings. It supports various KNX RF variants, including RF Ready and RF Multi, with or without KNX Secure. The media coupler enables the integration of segments from ETS6 onwards, connects KNX devices with and without Secure, and allows communication between RF Ready and RF Multi. It also functions as an area and line coupler as well as a repeater to extend the radio range. The LED provides comprehensive installation and diagnostic functions, and support for Unicast, Multicast & Broadcast is available. The media coupler is backward compatible and allows secure programming only via TP, making it ideal for use in publicly accessible areas. Updates can be performed via KNX TP and KNX RF to always stay up to date.
