The media coupler offers versatile functions for expanding existing systems or integrating them into new buildings. It supports various KNX RF variants, including RF Ready and RF Multi, with or without KNX Secure. The media coupler enables the integration of segments from ETS6 onwards, connects KNX devices with and without Secure, and enables communication between RF Ready and RF Multi. It also functions as an area and line coupler and as a repeater for extending the wireless range. The LED offers comprehensive installation and diagnostic functions, and unicast, multicast, and broadcast support is provided. The media coupler is backward compatible and enables secure programming only via TP, making it ideal for use in publicly accessible spaces. Updates can be performed via KNX TP and KNX RF to ensure you always stay up to date.
