The gateway enables the integration of KNX devices and installations into a BACnet BMS as well as into BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP controllers. This makes KNX communication objects and resources accessible as if they were part of the BACnet system. It supports the BACnet/IP client protocol and offers user-friendly integration via the Intesis MAPS configuration tool.
The integration process can be managed quickly and easily with this tool, and templates can be imported and reused multiple times, significantly reducing commissioning time. The gateway supports KNX TP devices and enables the control of up to 3000 KNX communication objects. Additionally, advanced BACnet features such as calendars, trend logs, and schedules are available to ensure comprehensive control and monitoring.
