The gateway enables the integration of Modbus RTU and TCP server devices into a BACnet BMS as well as into BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP controllers. This makes Modbus signals and resources seamlessly accessible as if they were part of the BACnet system. It supports up to six simultaneous Modbus TCP clients and offers the flexibility to use both Modbus RTU and TCP protocols. Additionally, BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP are fully supported. With the BACnet Explorer function, devices in the BACnet network can be easily scanned and detected. The integration process is facilitated by the Intesis MAPS configuration tool, which allows for quick and user-friendly setup. Templates can be imported multiple times and reused, significantly reducing commissioning time. Automatic updates for both the configuration tool and the gateway firmware ensure that software and functions are always up to date.
