The universal dimmer is suitable for controlling various types of lighting such as classic incandescent bulbs, halogen incandescent lamps with wound or electronic transformers, dimmable energy-saving lamps (CFL), and LED light sources (230 V). It uses the Thread protocol for communication with other Matter-compatible devices. Classic wall switches can be connected via the control input "S". The programming button on the device allows manual adjustment. The range is up to 200 m outdoors. For installation, one or more Thread Border Routers in the WLAN, as well as a Matter hub and a suitable app (e.g. Home Assistant, Apple HomeKit, Google Home), are required. The switching unit has a supply voltage of AC 230 V (50-60 Hz) and dimensions of 43 x 44 x 22 mm.
