The KNX touch panels V40 and V50 from GVS are versatile control devices for modern smart home applications. The CHTF-4.0/9.5.22 offers a capacitive 4-inch IPS colour display with a width of 480 pixels and impresses with its clear presentation and intuitive operation.

With the touch panel, numerous functions in the building can be comfortably controlled. These include lighting, blinds, roller shutters, scenes, heating and ventilation systems as well as air conditioning. Music control is also possible directly via the panel. The graphical representation of air quality data such as CO₂, PM2.5 or VOC ensures a healthy indoor climate.

The device features an integrated proximity sensor that reacts up to 30 centimetres. The sensitivity can be individually adjusted. A front LED light strip indicates the operating status and supports visual feedback. The touch vibration additionally provides tangible feedback during operation.





The panel is programmed via ETS software from version 5.7 onwards. The physical address can be assigned directly via the display without the device needing to be dismantled. Two favourite pages and up to fifteen function pages can be customised. Own images and symbols can be integrated.

The CHTF-4.0/9.5.22 requires, in addition to the KNX bus voltage, an additional supply of 24 to 30 volts direct current. Mounting is carried out in a standard flush-mounted box with a diameter of 60 millimetres. The recommended installation heights are between 120 and 140 centimetres above the floor.

The panel’s logic functions enable complex controls with links such as AND, OR or XOR. Threshold comparisons and data type conversions are also possible. Additionally, up to sixteen timers and eight event groups are available.

The touch panel is designed for indoor use and operates reliably at temperatures between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius. The high-quality workmanship and clear user guidance make the GVS touch panel an ideal solution for demanding KNX installations in both private and commercial sectors.
