This KNX push-button sensor from the GVS WALTZ Basic Series is designed for classic wall operation in KNX installations and combines a minimalist appearance with clearly defined functions. With two to four buttons, integrated sensors, and KNX Secure, the device is suitable for residential and commercial buildings where reliable and straightforward operation is required.

The GVS CHPB-08/02.S.22 is designed as a classic KNX push-button for wall mounting and covers typical control functions in smart homes and commercial buildings. The two buttons can be individually configured in the ETS and support functions such as switching, dimming, blind control, scene calls, or sending values. By supporting short and long button presses, multiple functions can be assigned per button without making operation unnecessarily complex.

The integrated temperature sensor allows the push-button to be used as a measuring point for heating, cooling, or ventilation functions in the KNX system. Additionally, two binary inputs are available, through which, for example, window contacts, push-buttons, or an external NTC temperature sensor can be connected. This allows the device's functionality to be extended without additional modules.

The RGB status LEDs serve as optical feedback for the user. Colour, brightness, and behaviour of the LEDs can be set in the ETS so that states such as on, off, activated scenes, or other operating conditions are clearly visible. Especially in installations without a display, this visual feedback is an important part of the operating logic.

With support for KNX Data Secure, the push-button sensor is also suitable for installations with increased data security requirements. The encrypted communication on the KNX bus can be activated project-specifically and is usable both in new secure projects and in mixed KNX installations.

Mounting is carried out in a standard flush-mounted box, and the dimensions correspond to the common KNX format. The surface in white/silver is deliberately simple and blends unobtrusively into modern residential and commercial areas. The device is intended for fixed wall installation and is fully commissioned via the ETS.
