This KNX push-button sensor from the GVS WALTZ Basic series is designed for classic wall operation in KNX installations and combines a minimalist look with clearly defined functions. With two to four buttons, integrated sensors, and KNX Secure, the device is suitable for residential and commercial buildings where reliable and straightforward operation is required.

The GVS CHPB-04/02.S.22 is designed as a classic KNX push-button for wall mounting and covers typical control functions in smart homes and commercial buildings. The two buttons can be individually configured in ETS and support functions such as switching, dimming, blind control, scene calls, or sending values. By supporting short and long button presses, multiple functions can be assigned per button without making operation unnecessarily complex.

The integrated temperature sensor allows the push-button to be used as a measurement point for heating, cooling, or ventilation functions within the KNX system. Additionally, two binary inputs are available, allowing connection of window contacts, push-buttons, or an external NTC temperature sensor. This extends the device's functionality without additional modules.

The RGB status LEDs provide optical feedback for the user. The colour, brightness, and behaviour of the LEDs can be set in ETS, so states such as on, off, activated scenes, or other operating conditions are clearly visible. This visual feedback is an important part of the control logic, especially in installations without a display.

With support for KNX Data Secure, the push-button sensor is also suitable for installations with higher data security requirements. The encrypted communication on the KNX bus can be project-specifically activated and is usable in both new secure projects and mixed KNX installations.

Mounting is done in a standard flush-mounted box, with dimensions corresponding to the common KNX format. The white/silver surface is deliberately simple and unobtrusively fits into modern residential and commercial environments. The device is intended for fixed wall installation and is fully commissioned via ETS.
