The GVS IR set allows home entertainment systems such as hi-fi, TV, DVD, or other devices with an IR receiver to be controlled via the KNX system. This means these devices can be operated, for example, via a push-button sensor or a touch panel and can easily be integrated into different scenes or absence simulations.

With the IR learner, infrared commands from existing remote controls can be read and transmitted to up to 4 different receiving devices via group addresses using the IR transmitter.
