This control cover for the Gira System 55 is characterised by universal usability for left and right rocker switches and offers a discreet design without printing, which integrates well into existing installations.

  • Unprinted operating rockers: Replacement for the original rockers marked with symbols, ideal for individual labelling.
  • Universal usability: Suitable for left and right rockers, simplifying storage and installation.
  • System compatibility: Suitable for the GIRA System 55, enabling easy integration into existing installations.
  • Integrated control window: Allows visibility of control lights or indicators behind the rocker.
  • Matte grey colour tone: Neutral colour tone for harmonious adaptation to various interior styles.
  • Note on radio range: Metal attachments or metal frames can lead to range reductions with radio components.

The GIRA 5369015 control cover S3000 System 55 is a double rocker without printing with an integrated control window in matte grey colour. It serves as a replacement for the original operating rockers marked with symbols. Each of the two rockers can be used universally for both the left and right position, increasing flexibility during installation. The control cover is part of System 55 and compatible with the corresponding frames and attachments of this series.

The main function of this control cover lies in operating switches or push-buttons, whereby the control window enables visual feedback. This facilitates the status display of the switched function, for example via an integrated LED in the underlying switch module, while the rocker itself contains no electronics. The unprinted version deliberately omits symbols to ensure a neutral appearance or to allow individual labelling.

For installation, it should be noted that when using attachments or cover frames made of metal, range reductions must be expected with radio components. This is particularly relevant when planning radio-based smart home systems, as metallic components can impair radio signals.

The control cover is compatible with the System 55 frame series from GIRA, which is available in various design lines. The rocker has a width of 2 modular units, which must be taken into account when planning the installation space. The supply voltage is not relevant for this mechanical cover, as it has no active electronic function.

Commissioning is limited to the mechanical installation as a replacement rocker on existing switch modules of System 55. No parameterisation or configuration is required. The rocker is designed to be robust and allows easy visual control of the switching status through the control window.

Thanks to the unprinted design, the control cover offers a flexible solution for use in individual or neutrally designed switch programmes, without fixed symbols, which allows creative freedom during planning and later use.
