Video Amplifier Features: The video amplifier is used to extend the range in Gira door communication systems with video function. It raises the level of the incoming video signal to the maximum allowed bus level and outputs it at the output. This compensates for the line attenuation from the source of the video signal to the input of the video amplifier. Due to the combined housing, three mounting options are possible: Surface-mounted (in a standard junction box). Flush-mounted (in a device box). As REG (with the enclosed REG adapter). Notes: The video amplifier can extend the maximum cable length between the door and apartment stations from 100 to 300 m. No further configuration is necessary during commissioning, as the video amplifier automatically adapts to the existing wiring network.
