The Enertex® MeTa² KNX room controller combines sensors with the comfortable tactile feel of easily operable rocker switches, as well as a comprehensive control centre and a temperature regulation system with modern TFT displays. The four electronically labelled mechanical rockers enable up to 80 control functions, with each rocker capable of being assigned ten functions. The labelling field allows the display of the action to be performed, including feedback, information displays, alarms, and reporting functions. The housing, made of high-quality solid aluminium, houses a high-resolution rocker display with ageing-resistant colour TFT (IPS) technology, whose black background is seamlessly integrated into the rocker covers.



The room controller offers precise two-stage room temperature control with individual setpoint specification for heating and cooling. It controls up to four regulator auxiliary units and four split units. Additional functions include an integrated three-stage fan control, temperature and humidity sensors, light sensor, as well as a radar-based motion detector with a range of about three metres divided into three zones.



The controller features alarm functions that can trigger acoustic and/or optical signals with six configurable alarms. Three different signal tones are available in two volume levels. Additionally, the room controller supports up to 32 channels, including switching, dimming, colour light control, tunable white control, blind control, value transmitters, scene recall, and multimedia control. Each of these channels can be additionally assigned to a pair of rockers or individual buttons alongside the regulator and auxiliary unit functions.



With about 310 different icons, free colour selection for texts and icons, as well as fonts for various languages (Western and Eastern European encoding, Cyrillic, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic), the room controller offers high customisability. The separate menu button enables easy switching between up to ten freely configurable menu levels. Two external inputs can be used for remote temperature sensors or as binary inputs. The integrated bus coupler powers the device via the KNX bus without additional power supply.
