The Enertex® MeTa® KNX room controller is available in two hardware versions with four rocker switches in double height (Premium) or with two rocker switches in single height (Standard and Starter). The mechanical push buttons used provide familiar tactile feedback. The device is powered directly from the KNX bus and requires no external power supply. It has a menu button ("MeTa") to switch between up to four freely configurable menu levels. The level structure allows up to 32 (Premium) or 16 (Standard and Starter) switching commands to be configured. Furthermore, the push buttons enable simple parameterisation of the room controller directly on the device.
The room controller measures temperature, humidity (Premium and Standard versions) and colour intensity (all variants). Premium and Standard versions also offer flexible room controller functionalities. The display brightness can be automatically controlled via the built-in RGBW light sensor or set to a fixed level. An external switching contact allows the coupling of a conventional switch to the KNX bus.
