The modular combined arrester reliably protects electrical systems against transient overvoltages. Provides high protection in the event of direct lightning strikes in TT, TN-C, and TN-S systems. 12.5 kA impulse current withstand per pole. Easy DIN rail mounting and modular design allow for quick installation and maintenance.

Combines protection classes Type 1+2+3 in one device, enabling comprehensive surge protection from the building entry point to the end device.

The use of an MUA-50 combined arrester is mandatory according to DIN VDE 0100-443/534 for new buildings as well as for extensions with high-power consumers (e.g. wallbox, heat pump, PV system).

If external lightning protection is present, a protection staging is required:

Type 1 in the main distribution (e.g. MUA-100, MUA-50);
Type 2 in the sub-distribution
