The DSR12-UC is a twilight switch for DIN rail mounting. In combination with an external light sensor (LS), the device continuously detects the ambient brightness. If the set brightness threshold is fallen below, the set switch-on delay (response delay, AV) begins. After the AV time has elapsed, the changeover contact switches on. If the set brightness threshold is subsequently exceeded again, the set switch-off delay (fall-back delay, RV) begins. After the RV time has elapsed, the relay switches off again. The switch-on delay (response delay, AV) and the switch-off delay (fall-back delay, RV) can be set separately. This reliably suppresses short-term brightness fluctuations and ensures stable switching behaviour.
