The WS1 Color controls shading and ventilation as well as heating and air conditioning units. For added safety, motion or smoke detectors can be integrated, and lighting switched on at dusk creates atmospheric light. The WS1 Color includes the control panel (central unit) with an integrated indoor sensor and the weather station. Additional separate indoor sensors can be integrated into the system via radio, allowing the creation of different climate zones (individual room control).

The touch display makes operating the WS1 Color particularly easy and pleasant. Functions are set and drives operated by touching the display buttons. In standby mode, the current weather is displayed: the sun moves across the sky, it rains or snows.
