The weather station for the KNX building bus system measures temperature, wind speed, and brightness. It detects precipitation and receives the GPS signal for time and location. Sensor technology, evaluation electronics, and the bus interface electronics are housed in the compact enclosure.

Functions:
- Brightness measurement
- GPS receiver with output of the current time and location coordinates
- Wind measurement: Wind strength is measured electronically, making it silent and reliable, even during hail, snow, and subzero temperatures. Air turbulence and rising winds around the device are also detected
- Precipitation detection: The sensor surface is heated so that only drops and flakes are recognised as precipitation, but not fog or dew. When it stops raining or snowing, the sensor quickly dries again and the precipitation report ends
- Temperature measurement
- Configuration is done with the KNX software ETS
