The bus power supply PS00E03KNX provides the necessary current for the KNX/EIB bus. Connection to the bus line is made via a connector on the front side. The integrated coil ensures the transmission of telegrams on the bus line. When the reset button is pressed, the bus is reset. At least one bus power supply PS00E03KNX must be present for each bus line. A maximum of 2 power supplies can be connected to one bus line. The distance between the power supply and the bus devices must not exceed 350 m. The current and voltage at the bus power supply PS00E03KNX are monitored, so the power supply is protected against short circuits. Short power outages or voltage drops in the power network can be compensated by a backup of the device, which lasts approximately 220 ms. The bus power supply PS00E03KNX provides an auxiliary voltage of 30 V DC, which cannot be used to power the bus.
