The IPSBA03KNX device integrates a KNX power supply with an auxiliary output that can deliver a total of 640 mA, and an IP interface, allowing KNX installations to be implemented quickly and efficiently. The voltage of both the bus output and the auxiliary output is 29 V DC. The IP address can be obtained via the DHCP server or configured manually via ETS®. The device operates according to the KNXnet/IP specifications; up to 5 different IP addresses can be assigned. The device is also a KNX bus node with its own application program and can be configured with ETS® to communicate using the KNX Data Secure protocol. By enabling the parameter “Other power supplies on the bus line” in ETS, it is possible to install two devices on the same bus line, with a minimum distance of 200 metres.
