This small stainless steel marvel transforms your front door into an intelligent control centre – with camera, intercom, motion detection, and full smart home integration. Whether you use it with Gira X1, Home Assistant, or all by itself: your home starts right at the door.



  • High-resolution camera with 180° field of view: The integrated Full HD camera delivers a razor-sharp image by day and night, with a hemispherical 180° viewing angle for maximum overview directly at your front door.
  • 4D motion sensor with direction analysis: The smart sensor detects not only movement but also its direction and speed – ideal for targeted automations such as lighting control or push notifications.
  • Seamless integration into Gira X1: Via HTTP calls and SIP, the D1102V-F can be directly integrated into your KNX logic, including scene control, door opening, and communication via Gira G1 panels.
  • Full Home Assistant compatibility: Camera, doorbell, motion sensor, and relay can be fully integrated into Home Assistant. Ideal for automations, dashboards, and notifications on your smartphone or tablet.

Setup is done via the DoorBird integration in Home Assistant. You create your own DoorBird user account with API rights, enter the IP address, username, and password, and you’re ready to go. Events such as "ring" or "motion detected" appear as triggers in your automation list. You can combine them with conditions and actions, for example: "Only send a notification if nobody is home." The camera can also be integrated: you get access to the live image, the last doorbell picture, and the last motion picture. You can display these in a notification or visualise them in a dashboard.

Security and data protection

The D1102V-F is IP65-certified, meaning weatherproof, and IK08-rated, meaning vandal-proof. Data transmission is encrypted, and you can decide whether to store images and videos locally or in the DoorBird cloud. The cloud function is optional and chargeable, but you can also use a NAS like Synology or QNAP.

Bluetooth and access control

With the integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), you can use the DoorBird Keyfob A8007 or integrate other BLE-enabled sensors and locks. You can, for example, automatically open your door lock when you approach – completely without a key or code.
