The WLED Range Extender OUT module complements the WLED Range Extenders with an additional output module to multiply the signal.
It also serves as the output of the WLED signal for the cod.m WLED LAN Controller when operated with a Range OUT module.
Version 0.4 integrates the WLED Fused Power Capacitor Board, which means it is no longer required at the power supply point where the data signal is also connected.
The Range Extender OUT module can also be used to control multiple strips in parallel over a distance of up to 500 metres with one controller. The controller only controls one strip with (e.g.) 300 LEDs. By appropriately wiring the Range Extender with several OUT modules, this signal can be multiplied to further strips of the same type and length.
The IN module of the WLED Range Extender converts the 800 kHz signal from the pixel controller into a differential signal, which can be tapped multiple times from the bus via OUT modules.
