The communications adapter is a versatile mounting element for various communications modules and breakout cables. It supports keystone/modular jack modules (0229/04, 0229/05, 0229/06), breakout cables (0229/12, 0229/13, 0229/42, 0229/43), F-connectors (0229/22, 0229/23), jack plugs (0229/42, 0229/43), and blanking covers (0229/02, 0229/03). Suitable covers include 2539-xxx and 1766-xxx. The adapter can accommodate one or two jacks, with the module holder pivoting to either 45° or 90°. This facilitates installation and access to the connectors. It is suitable for installation in cable ducts, flush-mounted device boxes, and underfloor systems and is supplied without a cover plate, allowing the appropriate cover to be selected depending on the installation environment. The adapter offers a flexible and versatile solution for installing communication modules in a variety of environments.
