The ASKOHEAT+ 2.0 is a supplementary heater for drinking and heating water in photovoltaic systems that optimizes self-consumption. The radiator consists of three insulated U-shaped round heating elements mounted in a brass nipple and is suitable for enameled storage tanks. It includes a mechanical temperature controller and a shatter-proof temperature limiter in accordance with EN 14597. The included control unit displays the heating status and allows connection to external temperature sensors. The radiator can be controlled in seven power levels via Modbus-TCP/-RTU. It can also communicate with an energy meter to convert produced energy into heat without using mains power. Features such as automatic legionella protection and the option of minimum temperature control are also available. The radiator has a maximum operating temperature of 110°C and meets protection class IP41.
