The solar panel independently supplies the camera’s battery with free, environmentally friendly green electricity, so that just a few hours of sunlight are often enough for a full charge. This significantly extends the battery life, making manual charging less frequent and, under ideal conditions, unnecessary altogether. This is especially practical for frequent triggers or cameras mounted high up, as you have to climb the ladder less often. The alignment to the sun is easy thanks to the ball joint mount and 3-metre connection cable. The robust 17 x 12 cm panel is suitable for wind and weather. After a firmware update of the base station and camera and activation of the “Solar” operating mode in the app, the system is ready for use. Note: This panel is not compatible with the ABUS WLAN battery camera.
