The Secoris wireless motion detector recognises people by their body heat field and movements in the room using two independent detection methods: passive infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW). An alarm is only triggered if both methods detect movement, ensuring a high level of false alarm protection. Optionally, a pet-immune mode can be activated to ignore pets. With a detection range of up to 10 x 10 m and an opening angle of approximately 85°, the spherical PIR lens design covers the room evenly, while the MW sensor provides active radar monitoring. Undercrawl protection ensures that no areas directly beneath the detector remain unmonitored.
