For the control of a heating or cooling circuit. The device has 2 channels, each with an analogue output for controlling the 3-way mixing valve (0…10 V) of a heating or cooling circuit. The device also has a relay output (5 A) for switching the circulation pump. The status of the pump can be monitored via 3 binary signal inputs (via potential-free contacts) and this feedback can be included in the pump control.
The flow and return temperatures are measured and used for calculating the valve position value by the integrated controller. The setpoint is received via the KNX bus. By bundling channels, it is possible to control systems with dual pumps. For extended diagnostic functions and improved commissioning, the ABB i-bus Tool can be used.
