FI/LS switches (RCBOs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically caused fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth DC residual current component of up to 6 mA to earth. As well as fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection (with IΔn ≤ 30 mA) and fire protection (with IΔn ≤ 300 mA). They comply with the product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20), IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21). Areas of application are household and commercial uses. The compact design of the DSX301C FI/LS is ideal for use in power distribution systems where space is limited. The series is available with 30 mA, 100 mA or 300 mA residual current and a B or C trip characteristic.
