FI/LS circuit breakers (RCBOs) provide personal and property protection as well as protection against electrically caused fires in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They ensure protection of single-phase circuits against overload and short-circuit currents, protection against sinusoidal alternating currents and pulsating currents with a smooth DC residual current component of up to 6 mA to earth. As well as fault protection (protection against indirect contact), additional protection and fire protection. They comply with the product standards IEC/EN 61009-1 (VDE 0664-20), IEC/EN 61009-2-1 (VDE 0664-21).

Areas of application include domestic, commercial and industrial uses. The compact design of the DS301C FI/LS is ideal for use in power distributions where little space is available. The series features a 30 mA residual current and a B or C trip characteristic.

Rated breaking capacity according to IEC/EN 61009 Icn = 6 kA.
