The 2N® Access Unit M Touch Keypad & RFID reader is ideal for applications requiring dual authentication. During working hours, holding an RFID card up to the reader is sufficient; outside working hours, entering a PIN code is additionally required. It can also be used to create one-time or temporary access codes for visitors. The device reads both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz RFID cards and features an illuminated keypad, enabling use in dark rooms. It is powered via PoE or 12V/1A DC and supports protocols such as DHCP, HTTP, and HTTPS. The keypad uses capacitive touch technology with high sensitivity and regular calibration. Mechanically, the device is robust with a cover made of hardened glass and plastic, and it has protection ratings of IP55 and IK07. It measures 50 x 133 x 27 mm and weighs a maximum of 0.5 kg.
