The external card reader connects to a PC via USB and is suitable for reading 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz RFID cards, as well as NFC-enabled Android devices with HCE support. Card management is carried out via the web interface of 2N devices or using the 2N® Access Commander software. It can read both the serial number (CSN) and the encrypted PACs ID of HID cards. A USB driver is required for operation. The reader supports various card types, including Mifare Classic, DESFire, Felica, and NFC-compatible smartphones.
